Cannabis webinar series: Emerging research and implications

Sep 2021

Presented by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) and the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC).

The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) and the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) funded several cannabis research projects addressing the impact of legalization on cannabis policy, non-medical cannabis use and the mental health of people from various communities and diverse populations living in Canada.

The webinars will showcase emerging knowledge in these areas by allowing researchers to highlight their projects, present findings to date or what they expect to find and outline the broader implications for cannabis regulation. Researchers will present an overview of their projects in the first hour of the webinar, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A and discussion.
